Frenula (lingual or labial) are small fibrous tissues that connect the lips or the tongue to the gums. When they are short or pathological, they may cause functional or aesthetic problems.
The procedure is carried out under local anesthesia and takes only a few minutes. With specialized instruments, the frenulum is released or removed, restoring normal function.
